Responsible Gaming at qqalfa

Gambling should be fun, entertaining, and within your means. qqalfa is committed to promoting responsible gaming and providing tools to help you stay in control. 21+ only.

Responsible Gaming at qqalfa

qqalfa is committed to providing a safe, secure, and responsible gaming environment for all players. While the vast majority of our users gamble recreationally without issue, we recognize that for some individuals, gambling can become problematic. Our Responsible Gaming program is designed to help you maintain control over your betting activity, recognize warning signs of problem gambling, and access support when needed.

This page outlines the tools, resources, and policies qqalfa has in place to promote responsible gaming. We encourage all players to review this information and use the available tools to ensure that your gaming experience remains enjoyable and within your personal limits.

Age Restriction: 21+ Only

qqalfa strictly enforces a 21+ age restriction. All users must be at least 21 years of age to register an account, deposit funds, or place bets. This policy complies with Indonesian legal standards and international best practices for online gambling operators.

During account registration and the KYC (Know Your Customer) verification process, we require government-issued identification (Indonesian KTP, passport, or driver's license) to confirm your age. Accounts found to belong to individuals under 21 years of age will be immediately closed, and all funds will be forfeited.

If you suspect that a minor has accessed qqalfa or created an account, please contact our support team immediately at [email protected] or via live chat. We take underage gambling extremely seriously and will investigate all reports promptly.

Recognizing Problem Gambling

Problem gambling (also known as gambling disorder or compulsive gambling) is a behavioral condition in which an individual continues to gamble despite negative consequences to their finances, relationships, mental health, or daily functioning. Early recognition of warning signs is critical to preventing problem gambling from escalating.

Ask yourself the following questions to assess whether your gambling may be becoming problematic:

  • Do you gamble more money or for longer periods than you originally intended?
  • Have you tried to cut back on gambling but been unable to do so?
  • Do you feel restless, irritable, or anxious when you try to stop or reduce gambling?
  • Do you gamble to escape problems, relieve stress, or cope with negative emotions (e.g., depression, guilt, anxiety)?
  • Have you lied to family members, friends, or colleagues about the extent of your gambling?
  • Have you jeopardized or lost important relationships, jobs, or educational opportunities due to gambling?
  • Do you rely on others to provide money to relieve financial situations caused by gambling losses?
  • Have you chased losses by gambling more in an attempt to win back money you have lost?
  • Have you borrowed money, sold possessions, or engaged in illegal activities to finance your gambling?
  • Do you experience financial difficulties, debt, or inability to pay bills as a result of gambling?

If you answered "yes" to three or more of these questions, you may be experiencing problem gambling. We strongly encourage you to use qqalfa's self-exclusion tools, set strict deposit limits, and reach out to our support team or a professional counseling service for assistance.

Responsible Gaming Tools on qqalfa

qqalfa provides a comprehensive suite of responsible gaming tools accessible from your account settings. These tools are designed to help you maintain control over your gambling activity and prevent it from becoming problematic.

Deposit Limits

You can set daily, weekly, or monthly deposit limits on your qqalfa account. Once a limit is set, you will not be able to deposit more than the specified amount within the chosen time period, even if you have available funds in your bank account or e-wallet.

How to set a deposit limit: Log in to your qqalfa account, navigate to Account Settings > Responsible Gaming > Deposit Limits, and enter your desired daily, weekly, or monthly cap. The limit takes effect immediately and can be reduced at any time. Increases to deposit limits are subject to a 24-hour cooling-off period to prevent impulsive decisions.

Loss Limits

Loss limits allow you to cap the maximum amount you can lose over a specified period (daily, weekly, or monthly). This limit is calculated as total deposits minus total withdrawals during the selected period.

Once you reach your loss limit, you will be unable to place further bets until the next period begins. Loss limits can be reduced immediately or increased after a 24-hour cooling-off period.

Session Time Limits

Session time limits allow you to pre-define the maximum duration of a single gaming session. You can set limits of 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, or 4 hours. When your session reaches the time limit, qqalfa will log you out automatically and display a reminder encouraging you to take a break.

Reality Check Reminders

Reality check reminders are on-screen pop-up notifications that appear at regular intervals (every 15, 30, or 60 minutes) during active gameplay. These reminders display:

  • Total time elapsed since you logged in.
  • Net win or loss during the current session.
  • A prompt encouraging you to assess whether you wish to continue playing.

Reality checks are designed to interrupt automatic, mindless gambling behavior and prompt conscious decision-making. You can enable reality checks from Account Settings > Responsible Gaming > Reality Check.

Self-Exclusion

Self-exclusion is a voluntary program that allows you to temporarily or permanently restrict your access to qqalfa. During a self-exclusion period, you will be unable to log in, deposit funds, place bets, or access any qqalfa services.

Available self-exclusion periods:

  • 24-Hour Cool-Off: A short-term break to regain perspective.
  • 7-Day Time-Out: A one-week suspension to assess your gambling habits.
  • 1-Month Time-Out: A 30-day exclusion for more serious concerns.
  • 3-Month Time-Out: A 90-day break to seek support and develop healthier habits.
  • 6-Month Time-Out: A half-year exclusion for significant problem gambling concerns.
  • Permanent Self-Exclusion: A lifetime ban from qqalfa (cannot be reversed).

How to self-exclude: Log in to your qqalfa account, navigate to Account Settings > Responsible Gaming > Self-Exclusion, select your desired exclusion period, and confirm. Alternatively, contact our support team via live chat or email at [email protected] to request immediate self-exclusion.

Important: Self-exclusion is final and cannot be reversed until the chosen period expires (except for permanent self-exclusion, which is irreversible). qqalfa will make reasonable efforts to prevent you from circumventing self-exclusion by creating new accounts, but you are ultimately responsible for respecting your own exclusion request.

Account Closure

If you wish to close your qqalfa account for reasons unrelated to problem gambling (e.g., you no longer wish to gamble online), you may request voluntary account closure. Contact support to initiate closure, and any remaining balance will be returned to your verified bank account or e-wallet within 7 business days.

Account closure is permanent and cannot be reversed. If you are experiencing problem gambling, we recommend using self-exclusion instead, as it provides structured time periods and external support.

Tips for Gambling Responsibly

Responsible gaming means gambling in a way that is enjoyable, controlled, and sustainable. Follow these best practices to maintain a healthy relationship with gambling:

  • Set a budget and stick to it. Decide in advance how much money you can afford to lose, and never gamble with funds needed for rent, bills, food, or other essential expenses.
  • Treat gambling as entertainment, not income. The house always has an edge in the long run. Do not gamble with the expectation of making money or recovering losses.
  • Set time limits. Decide how long you will gamble before you start, and stop when your time is up — even if you are winning.
  • Take regular breaks. Step away from the screen every 30-60 minutes to maintain perspective and avoid impulsive decisions.
  • Never chase losses. Attempting to win back money you have lost is one of the most common signs of problem gambling. Accept losses as part of the game and walk away.
  • Do not gamble under the influence. Alcohol, drugs, or emotional distress impair judgment and increase the risk of reckless betting behavior.
  • Balance gambling with other activities. Ensure that gambling does not become your primary source of recreation. Maintain hobbies, social connections, and physical activities outside of gambling.
  • Keep track of your activity. Review your betting history regularly to assess whether you are staying within your limits. qqalfa provides detailed transaction logs in your account dashboard.
  • Do not borrow money to gamble. Never use credit cards, loans, or money borrowed from friends or family to fund your gambling. This is a major warning sign of problem gambling.
  • Talk to someone if you are concerned. If you feel that gambling is becoming a problem, reach out to a trusted friend, family member, or professional counselor. Early intervention is key.
